- The Windows 95/98/NT Client Write Up System is a total
rewrite of the DOS Client Write Up System. Every line of code is
new. The Windows 95/98 Client Write Up System takes full advantage of
the 32bit technology of Windows 95/98. From a design standpoint, the
capabilities of the DOS system were duplicated and two major design
enhancements were added. They are:
- The System never closes. All financial periods
remain open. You are not limited by fiscal barriers or by
design limitations. You can make changes and produce financial
for any period at any time.
- The "After the Fact Payroll System" is individualized
by item. Any item can be subject to or not subject to any tax and
can be placed on any form in any position.
- The Windows Client Write-Up System will allow you to easily interface with
your clients who use Quicken and Quickbooks.
- The system will import ledger transactions from Quicken. It imports
employees, payroll transactions and ledger transactions from Quickbooks.
- The unique interface actually allows you to link Quicken/Quickbooks accounts
and employees(without account numbers and employees without employee numbers)
to accounts and employees in the Client Write-Up system.
- During the interface of Quickbooks employees, the system allows you to
individually link the Quickbooks payroll items to payroll items in the
Client Write-Up. Once payroll items are linked, payroll transactions
import with total detail.
- The Client Write Up System is also available in a DOS version.
The DOS system has hundreds of accounting firm users.
It has successfully served the marketplace since 1985. The DOS
Client Write Up System is a very productive system that is easy
to set up and understand. It produces financial statements and
after-the-fact payroll reports including W2's and 1099's. It
produces laser 941's,and has an optional capability to produce laser W2's
and 1099's. The system also interfaces with spread sheets, tax
programs and "Computer Checkbook".
- "Computer Checkbook" is a check writing program
that was designed to be used by the accounting firm as well as by
their clients. Functionally "Computer Checkbook" performs similar
tasks to other check writing programs the best known of which is
Intuit's "Quicken". "Computer Checkbook" has the capability of
writing both payroll and payable checks, preparing deposit slips,
and also keeping accounting records for all of these transactions.
The particular benefit of the PC Software Accounting Firm's "Computer
Checkbook" is that it designed to directly interface to the PC Software
Accounting Client Write-Up System. Field experience has shown
that the use of "Computer Checkbook" typically reduces write-up
preparation time to approximately 20% of the time required without
the use of this system. The "Computer Checkbook" system is currently
only available in the DOS operating system but is being rewritten
for Windows 95/98.
