2011 Federal Tax Tables


Note: You cannot be in the program while performing this update.

If you are running version 9.33.01 please follow the instructions listed below.


Note: If you are running a version greater then 9.33.02 or lower than 9.33.01 you will need to contact us for an updated CD. ( 941-365-1162 )

To download the 2011 Federal Tax Tables updated December 22, 2010, please click -> HERE <- .

  1. You can either run the program in place by clicking on Open/Run or download the file by clicking on Save.

    If you wish to save the file we recommend you save the file directly into the C:\PCSW folder. This will make it easier to find.

    After downloading the file look for a file called Sysnew33.exe and double click on it to install the update.

    NOTE: You must not be in the program while installing this update.

  2. Once the update is installed you will need to run the option Get Updated Tax Tables After Update located in the Computer Checkbook to update the Federal tax tables.

    Utilities -> System Utilities -> Get Updated Tax Tables After Update

    Note: A single screen should open and close, saying it's copying from the Master.

  3. Update the 2011 Calendar year record for the new employee FICA rate of 4.2.

  4. Go to Setup -> System -> Calendar Years
  5. Type in 2011 in the Year Field
  6. Change the FICA Employee % to 4.2
  7. Change the Combined Employee % to 5.65
  8. Click the [OK] button to save the changes
  9. Click the [Close] button to exit

  10. Note: The rate only changes for the employee.
